We developed the branding for Forage Evolution, a biotech startup redefining how we interact with biology.
Forage Evolution is built around a clear premise: making biology faster, simpler, and more accessible — transforming complex scientific processes into intuitive, programmable systems.
Inspired by the concept of “living software”, the brand positions biology as a dynamic and updatable medium, where cells can be programmed and DNA functions as editable code. This idea guided the development of both the verbal and visual identity, translating a highly technical innovation into a clear and approachable brand narrative.
The visual system is built on principles of clarity, modularity, and fluidity, balancing a technological aesthetic with subtle organic references. This duality reflects the intersection between software logic and living systems.
The logotype features clean, contemporary forms, while the symbol merges the F and E into a continuous, connected shape — a visual expression of adaptive, evolving structures.
The result is a distinctive and forward-looking brand identity that communicates innovation with simplicity, positioning Forage Evolution as an accessible and intelligent platform for the future of biology.
For Forage Evolution, a series of illustrations was developed to clearly explain the process behind the technology, making complex scientific concepts easier to understand.
These visuals translate innovation into an accessible and intuitive narrative.
